Hidden Sadness

The life she had
Rich with all
Family and friends
Never to fall
Yet day by day
She struggled through
Trudged along
Seemed fine to you
But hidden in
Way deep down
In suffering
She drops her crown
Continue on
No she won’t
Her only thought
To lie and soak
A tub of tears
String or pills
She’s leaving now
Up off the hills
Life’s too hard
For her to bear
God Bless her soul
When we didn’t care
