As she looked back on all her years
She laughed and filled her eyes with tears.
Grateful she was to have such fun,
Although the best was yet to come.
Her friends all had each other's backs,
Like sticks and stones can't break their bones;
And no words could ever hurt them.
I hope one day this will be me,
Remembering good times like these.
