pain is real

My dad is a pain
He thinks I’m a little
Ice cube that he can hold
Forever
but I not, I’m a rock that
Can roll down any hill
I choose
He’s just a big bolder
That keeps knocking
Me down
Every time
i keep telling him
I’m not a little bird that he can boss around
I’m a brave eagle
I just know some day
He is going
To let me go
Free like a bird
