Life of a Student
Bearing the weight of my sin upon my very back
Being reminded of the intelligence I lack
Plodding slowly from session to session
Being reminded of my minimal progression
Repeating the cycle as the next year comes
As bells violate our eardrums
Learning how to function like machines
Although we don’t know what half of it means
But when this training comes to an end
We’ll miss our educators and every friend
And the most important thing we learn in our emissary
Is that it was all necessary
