Coated in Faux
Sometimes we get in a way,
and in this way
everything we say,
every smile we make,
every "No I'm okay".
every little laugh
every wave it past,
every joking tone
every smile on a phone
every
"It doesn't matter".
Is coated in faux
we make it look like were all perfect.
when all we really want to say is
I'm not okay
I'm going through a rough time
I'm never just fine.
I don't have it all together,
I dont know if this is something I can weather.
I've been feeling alone
I can't have these feelings shown.
I can't catch my breath
I have a heart racing right out of my cheast.
I never want to get out of bed
I have a heart of led
I need to let it all out,
sometimes I want some help.
But because everythings coated in faux,
strap on your mask for another day
and make it look like you're perfect.
