Drowning in depression
I gasp for air, yet all i receive is water filling my lungs.
Every inch of me is begging for one more chance at life.
Only to come to realize life, for me, was over long ago.
I should've known when the darkness first arrived.
The signs that no one would help me.
Not because they did not want to, but because I was already too far gone.
