I won’t be blown off
By siblings; thinking I have no authority.

No longer will I have to hear “You’re just a little kid”,
from family close and far.

There will be a day when I’m praised.
I’ll be looked up to for my hard work,
my achievements.

There will be a day when I become content.
Where I find happiness.
While only asking for what I need and
not what I want.

There will be a day when I help the future.

There will be a day when I become the man I want to be.
