Deep in thought
Surrounded by silence
The moment is lost
An eerie tone
From my mother's phone
Shatters the peace
Of being alone
The mood is broken
The air is thin
My heart is throbbing
The drop of a pin
A shriek
A sigh
I'll never forget
My mind is racing
A red corvette
It was my brother
He had been hit
So deeply devasted
Going to visit
