Little Light

October 25, 2014

Every day the sun sets

From dawn to dark

Nature makes its mark

With shades of violets and reds

As the sun travels behind the horizon

It says its fellow goodbyes

The sun slinks behind the horizon and hides

And its tail soon hides away with him

The night comes out to play

The air, cold, chilly and cool

A fate like this did seem quite cruel

The reaper goes to hunt for pray

Some may lose the fight

But at the end of the night

There will always be a little light

"Little Light" is a metaphor for an individual dying. (the sun) When he is dead (sunset) he sees hope. (the light)
