Something Greater
Let me paint you a picture
And you can call me Picasso
Or I could write you a poem
I'll blush crimson as you call me Sylvia
Excuse all the tear stains
I just want you to understand
This is love nor lust
But something greater
I feel like a goddess in your presence
And when you leave I weep
My tears creating a monsoon
Until you have to build an ark to come back to me
I'll worhsip you like Zeus
You have me in the palm of your hand
Everything belongs to you
Mind
Body
And soul
I do not take a single breath without you
But you still fail to see
You make a convincing Hellen Keller
Until you spit daggers at me
Penetrating my skin
I fall to my knees
And worship you for the final time
