I am from love.
The outcome of two people’s desire
to build a family.
I am from the baby of the family.
Giving a friend to an older brother,
stealing daddy’s heart,
and making mommy smile.
I am from growing up.
Form crawling, to walking, to talking,
to forming a personality –
and a voice.
I am from learning.
About life,
the world around me,
and about myself.
I am from family.
Love and faith,
togetherness and fun.
I, am from God.
