If my mouth would part its ways
I would say exactly what I needed to say.
A thousand words would spill the truth,
Breaking every silence I have grown accustomed to.

Every passing that you make,
My brain promptly articulates.
In the song my lips don’t sing,
I would convey everything.

In the dark my words still weep,
They beckon for a chance at peace.
In the sight of a rising sun,
They’d be captured and come undone.
