The best thing you could ever learn in life is to mind your own business

I walk through the world with my head held down and an look of shame on my face as i walk on the cool sidewalk in the rain listening to the drops hit the ground with an thud. In your eyes I'm viewed as helpless  or better yet homeless, dirty, lazy. I get passed on the sidewalks look down on in subways because I'm just trying to find some place warm to hide my shame. All i want is a dollar that maybe I can get some food or something to drink; imagine if you were in my postion. Your stomach growls with a fierce furious hunger you give off a smell of a dead animal you try to ask for help but no one wants to help they ask why can't they just help themselves. If i could help myself I would not be dropping my pride as i ask just for maybe five cents that can make out an dollar for an sandwich. I walk around with my head down and a look of shame on my face but i know that one day I will get out of this I will not be called a waif...i will not be helpless
