And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

A sight too awful to bear my savior carrying his death,
the cross.
Dust gathers were blood and tears have fallen
from my master’s precious face.
People from every street corner shout
“Crucify him, away with him!”
And spit on the spotless white lamb.
People amidst the angry mob wonder
Why he, if the Son of God,
doesn’t call ten thousand angels to destroy the world
and set him free.
But no, he died so we might live,
And this, friend is the masters sacrifice.

In sunday school one day we where learning about how cuel it was when Jesus. It was awful! I felt we had sugercoated the death of Jesus, and we don't relize the immensity of what he had done for us. This is far from describing the cruel and awful punishment Jesus suffered for us (I couldn't bear to write it), but I think it hits home.

I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go, things go wrong so that you learn to appreciate them when they're right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself...and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
