Patience Is Key,
Casper

All coated,
With the soothing warmth of
Cloth.
Needed to shelter,
My  ice chilled figure.
Patience.

The dense green leaves.
Coated with white crystallized frost.
That same frost,
Glazed the uneven ground.
Patience is.

Holding my exhilaration
And stress.
I let out a breath.
That united to the chill,
Of the mask.
Together,
Creating a
Silver, sleek, gloss.
Patience is key.

As I stand,
In the mossy, muddy, frosted ground,
Igolping my feet.

“GO!”
Is yelled from the outskirts.
Patience is key CASPER!

Ignoring
the voice in my cranium.
Letting my legs take command.
They eject 127 pounds,
into the air.

As my strides become
Longer and swifter
By the second.
My vision becomes abstracted
By a four limbed shadow.
Prancing through the air,
Like an Antelope.

That Antelope,
pointing air powered
rounds.
Shaped as balls,
filled with yellow paint.
Ready to be fired,
At me.

BANG, BANG, BANG!
Three burst from the nozzle.
Sounding like one.

The yellow balls
sprint through the air.
Preparing to give me
Agonizing, excruciating pain.

Is this the end?

Patience is key Casper.
