A Musical World
2am, the only thing ringing in my head are lyrics
I get up carry myself threw the dark halls
passing right by my sister
and little brother’s rooms,
screaming the lyrics in my head
trying hard not to feed into the sensation of singing out loud
I start to head outside, sitting down on the cold pavement
waiting for the next song to come on
while I sit in the cold and start to get chills
All around me I hear the birds sing
crickets chirp, the fresh smell of morning grass
then I finally give in as I start to hum the lyrics of the song
The sky is getting lighter,
grass looks greener
suddenly my life revolves around music
I’m looking up seeing the world slip by,
as I start to stumble inside wrapping myself up in my red fuzzy blanket
I start to get these thoughts
thinking about how inspiring music really is
living in a world where music isn’t just words
it actually means something
I head back to my room sneaking past the bedrooms
as I lay in my bed
The lyrics start to fade from my mind
I start to calm down and drift off out of this musical world

What inspried me was music
One day I was listening to music and so many thoughts came to mind how music really expresses me and other things how music was there for me when I needed someone the most
