I live in the sewer in the dirty tunnels
society says I should only be in the ocean and in the sand
But I’m a ninja that fights, but only at night
When I'm in the sewer it’s me and my family in the misty dark
but when I’m out the sewer it changes and I fight for my life
it’s going to take the man in me to find sanity with this plan for me
to be me is like being free
I love pizza but I can't get a slice or I’ll get diced
When I slice it’s against shredder and ice
I’m a ninja turtle
This is for me to be free of this insanity

The message of the poem is that being something you want is hard and might be crazy but you could be whatever you want. To be what you want even if society says you shouldn't.
