I Am a Boy
I am a boy
Short and weak,
When I go to school
I can never play hide and seek.
I am a boy
Alone and frail,
When I go to school
I get pushed down the rail.
I am a boy
Sad and frustrated,
But when I listen to hard rock music
I no longer feel hated.
I am a boy
Growing and learning,
When I got to school now
I’m looking for friends, trying and yearning.
I am a boy
Strong and proud,
Now when I go to school
I have friends and we swarm a big crowd.
I am a boy
Alive and free,
I found out now
Who I want to be!
I am a boy
Epic and legendary,
When I hang out with my friends
All those bullies comments seem small unnecessary!

As a kid, I went to Normandy school district. This poem was about what I went through to overcome my problems in third grade.
I hope that people will understand and relate to what happened to me, or if bullying has happened to them in this way that the poem will help them.
