You and Me Will Never Be
The dove flew down from its perch so high,
As if it could sense I had told this lie.
It stared at me like a raven created by Poe,
Darting its eyes around too and fro.
I wanted to make dinner of the dove,
Take it and choke it to stop all true love.
Your face was poison, fruit of bad vine,
Your heart was deceiving, it sure deceived mine.
You have made me want to take the universe out,
Beat it senseless, but thats just a dream, instead I pout.
I hate you for your heart, and I hate you for your mind,
I wish I could hate you until the end of all time.
But alas and alack you are too nice hate,
But now I now love is not our true fate.
