Endless War
Lives torn apart.
Killing. Neverending murder.
Why must this continue?
Have we learned nothing?
Annihilation, devastation, disaster
The same mistakes commited by generations.
A false belief can sow the seeds
Flaming catalyst, no freedom, no relief.
Explosions, shells, a final cry for help
The neverending cycle continues.

There is so much death and fear in the world, yet too often we gloss it over, block it out so we don't have to deal with it. This poem shows what people inside the war feel like. Since the theme of war is a neverending cycle, you can read the poem backwards, line by line, and it still makes sense.
