Ignorance is Bliss
The world is imploding on itself
The earth a dusty brown,
The seas are waging a forceful war
Taking their enemies down.
The skies are gray and still;
The quiet before the storm,
The sun blackened by thunderclouds
The last thing remaining warm.
A powerful wind now comes to life
Survive though several may,
None hold each other for support
So all are swept away.
The creatures battle amongst themselves
Preparing to make some die,
Despite the disasters plaguing them all
They will not unify.
Fire and ice, both fall to the ground
Striking their victims below
But everyone within safety's grasp
Just pretends not to know.
