Forever
Forever, what does it even mean? Does it mean never having to let go, or is it holding on indefinitely? Is it a promise that you'll always be here or will you always come back? Does it mean the same thing as eternity or is that something else entirely? Forever you say, forever what? You'll love me forever? You’ll be here forever? I can trust you forever? Forever seems very misused maybe just because it’s misunderstood. When someone says forever what does it really mean? You could say forever but, forever what? How can you say forever and truly mean it, but not even really know what, forever, is? It could be a state of mind, or a place, or even just a thought really. I guess you can't really know what it is until you've felt it, or have seen it, or have heard it, or have been there. How would one even define the phenomenon? I guess you could say forever starts with two people, two ordinary people, and then their souls intertwine and with a little help from god love blooms. Then when all else fades, the bond, the place where those two souls joined, lives on, even without the physical aspect. When love is near, nothing fails. That's where forever is born. Forever comes out of the belief that even without our bodies, without this world, we keep going. We persevere and with the help of each other we live on. We become part of forever. But I guess we never believe it, never know it; never understand it, till we go there ourselves. But just because you can’t reach out and touch it, can’t hold it in the palm of your hand doesn't mean it’s not there. Doesn't mean it’s not beautiful, doesn't mean it’s not worth searching for. Because after all, couldn't we all use a little forever?
