Our second try
Our second try
So far so good
But know that I
Begin to see
A dusty pattern
On your ornate hood.
I see the thoughts
You hide from me
Their shadowed form
waiting to break free
I want to trust you
I want to try
I want to be two
Who never cry.
Yet I see the storm.
The weathered smile
Where once love was worn
Is crying out.
And from my breast is torn.
You know I love you.
But know my fears
I've seen this all before
When once we two
Shed tears.
Remember you this my love?
It's the reason why
We are now on
Our second try.
