Can I feel nothing?
She has too much hope.
In the future, she sees a ring.
In the future, I see a rope.
She doesn't deserve this
Am I just defective?
Is she blinded by bliss,
Or are my feelings selective?
What went wrong?
It doesn't feel right;
I don't belong..
My chest feels tight.
A heart weighs like a stone;
Heavier than a feather,
Weaker than bone,
Desiccated by time and weather -
I'm sorry I'm sorry
It's better off this way.
I am weak and chary,
But I don't want to stay.
