I am a drifter.
I do not belong here or there,
With he or with she.
I belong nowhere,
With no one.
I am a drifter.
I have no beginning,
I see no end.
No one knows where I came from,
Or where I am going.
I am a drifter.
Not many understand me,
But I understand everyone.
I am a drifter.
It's in my blood;
It's who I am.
I don't need you to like me-
I already do.
