HomeRun
It’s the bottom of the 9th, and both teams have fought to the last pitch. The batter is up. Bat in hand, he takes a few practice swings, the time has come: the pitcher winds up, catapults the ball at the batter, the batter swings his bat at the speeding ball… PING! The sound of the metal bat hitting against the ball, the batter blasts the ball over the wide grass, the ball is going, and going… it’s gone! Gone over the entire field! HOME RUN! The batter lifts his leg and thrusts to first, every step means victory, then to second, third...The crowd’s cheers fill the sky as the batter runs toward home base, one step after the other, finally his leg touches home.
