Your soul,
is crushed,
like ice.
Your heart is broken,
like the ice,
in your soul.
Love won’t find you,
it will hurt you,
to where you won’t survive.
It swirls in your head,
never going away,
a continuing ache.
The ice in your soul,
pierces your skin,
like a sharp razor.
Your broken heart,
has been sewn up,
but it collapses.
The searching love,
is lost,
in your anguish.
Your swirling head,
aches more than anything,
it’s a pain you deserve.

The author's comments:
I wrote this because I feel that there are many people out there who feel the emotion I am expressing in the poem. I feel that.. People do feel this way, but- they shouldn't. I know I have felt this way many times, but that doesn't mean I want someone else to feel depressed and lonely. I hope this pieces expresses the emotion that people are too afraid to tell the people around them whom they love.
