day by day ignore authority,
no effort put forth
each minute wasted away.
naturally ahead of the inadequate,
yet a burden to the gifted.
no leaps to make,
no chances to take
self- destruction of a
red-headed rebel
her wings she shed long ago.

This poem is an echo poem. Each line of the poem includes one word of some type of rhyme (end, internal, slant, identical)that has to do with the randomly chosen word "dead" which is featured in the title.
