&quot;I&#039;ve never let my schooling interfere with my education.&quot;<br /> --Mark Twain

I have no way to tell you how I feel
I went through Hell and back before we met
I have no words, although my pain is real

I’m so grateful I was saved from my ordeal
Although you speak to me, I cannot talk
I have no way to tell you how I feel

My wounds are deep; they’ll never fully heal
Though I can’t talk, I soon perhaps will walk
I have no words, although my pain is real

The work is hard, and I cannot conceal
All my frustration, though I try to block
I have no way to tell you how I feel

The other children laugh and tease and squeal
I wish that I could join them, but they mock
I have no words, although my pain is real

I’m sad to see you go to greener fields
I wish you could have taught me how to talk
I have no way to tell you how I feel
I have no words, although my pain is real
