I can’t bear to face you.
You’re the cause of my heart throb,
the reason why it sinks deep into my chest.
You look at me with your deep blue eyes and put me in trance.
Butterflies flutter all around my stomach.
My cheeks brighter than a summer rose.
You turn me into a giggling little child.
Stumbled words, and dilated pupils are the results of our conversations.
Those few minutes we talk are the many seconds I replay over and over in my head.
It’s a real struggle forcing my focus away from you.
You’re my drug of happiness, and I’m close to overdose.
I become weak when it comes to you.
If you find me obsessive, just know it’s your fault for being perfection to my eyes.
