I remember-...

when my dreams danced with newborns to

a smooth song

till reality scratched the record & woke me

in a nightmare

I remember-...

where smiles and laughter came from joy & pride

till joy is a mystical depression, while pride is lusted

to pretend

I remember-...

the teaching of love would be so beautiful

till I turned into the mirror and kissed

my reflection

I remember-...

the awakening of my soul with fresh air & every

blue sky

til now I have a burden, hotter than the devil

wearing a sweater on a vacation in heaven

Those days---where I was mommy little angel

till now I question if she forgot I was born

Does she remember-...?

I remember-....

my young soul shouting millions of words

to the world

till I was cut by the mouth, forced to scream through a

pen

I remember-...

where my only outlet was turned into

a job bouncing it’s way out of my life

losing in overtime to the demons

I remember-...

the old image of who I was MEANT to be

til I was reincarnated in society eyes

of who I’m now TOLD to be

I remember-....

them snatching my sanity till my death

before I even got to live

Now remember a new memory

cause when I say them, I meant me

I remember-...

I forgave
