The Boy with Messy Hair
There was once a boy with messy hair
Who danced and ran with naught a care
But with crazy dreams
And a wide-eyed stare
He’d read his book
Or swing his swing
And look at birds upon the wing
But with the passing of a year
They locked him up and filled his head with fear
That if he be so odd
He would one day struggle
To find a job
With math and science they made it clear
Creation had no purpose here
And though he screamed “it isn’t fair”
They killed the boy with messy hair
