Childhood
Where is the peace;
The non-complication of the hallways?
What happened to the lines of children
In the extravagant painted hall?
Why are the class rooms so plain?
Why are the bookshelves full of adventures and fun?
What had we done to end up here?
Why do we run into trouble everywhere we go?
When did childhood end?
It ended on August 26, the first day of sixth grade.
