Another empty night spent alone in bed
With an endless array of images running through my head.

I’m caught in a sea, a sea of mindless fears
And I’m swept up in the current of the river of tears.

It’s a long and lonely river, with a never ending flow.

Made by broken hearts and endless tales of woe
For now I ride its rapids through long & lonely nights
Searching for the one who can make me right.

I live a life of emptiness, fears, and darkness
But someday she’ll come to me and save me drowning soul.

For now I ride this river that leads to a lonely sea
Searching for that girl who will finally set me free.
