Our family
Through laughs and tears,
Undeniable love and hugs,
To ridding me of all my fears,
And screaming, “DAD!”, when we see bugs.

Yelling, “SHOTGUN”, as we all pile into the car,
And going on week long camping trips, just lounging in the sun,
Although we have our disagreements, I know that we’ll go far,
Because what is a happy family without a lot of fun?

Over the years our friends have come and gone,
But we’ll never leave each other’s side,
From fighting over Friday dinners, Pizza Hut or Papa John’s,
To playing a myriad of different games screaming, “Ready or not, you’d better hide!

Family is about having people that care,
The people that make you feel elated when you’re sad,
With big happy smiles and lots of love to share,
I love my family because they will always be there.
