Lies that they tell you are the truth.
These people believe
anything you say.
If you write it down,
it is the Bible,
it is set in stone.
It would be easy to manipulate them for your benefit,
if they all weren’t just
oh-so smart.
Their ears are sewn shut,
only opening
when they like.
They won’t hear anything they don’t like.
But after all,
who will?
The real truth is ugly.
So we live in the age of
flatirons, eyeliner,
And the word of Teen People.
