Yet you act like you’re invisible,
like I don’t know you’re there.

I’ve noticed how you tap your feet, when you’re put on the spot, while answering a question.
Don’t be so nervous.

I’ve noticed how your voice skips;
you close your eyes wishing you didn’t have to talk at all.
I’ve noticed how you don’t let your eyes wonder around the room
just in case someone you glance at tries to talk to you.
What are you afraid of?
We won’t bite.
Give yourself a chance.
Why do you doubt everyone’s opinion on you?
Why are you so nervous around us all?
I won’t judge you.
Take a chance for yourself.
Let the world in.
It’s such a beautiful place,
with so many interesting people.
I wish you would be comfortable around people.
Let people know you.
Don’t ever think people won’t like you for how you are.
Don’t apologize for being you.
Just be.
Be happy in your life not hidden.
