I’m yet
To feel
So lonely
Alone
As I do when in a
Crowd

Replacing
Empty faces
With the droplets of your eyes
A memory that is quickly born,
But even faster dies

What I mostly crave
Is my solitude
Alone, I am never alone

When isolated,
I feel my particles
Speeding
And the
Vibration
Lulls my wizened heart
Oh how
Your grey silhouette
Moves me
My own desolate
Work of art

The author's comments:
This piece is about the loneliness which surrounds even the most well accompanied individuals. In this case, the loneliness was brought on by being deprived of the only person whose spirit only follows me in solitude.
