Team of 2012
It started Monday. Our teams first practice was about to begin. I hopped out of the car eagerly hitting the concrete hard and started sprinting to the gym. I was excited but a little nervous at the same time. About a week before we had gotten are teams and I was fairly happy with who I was going to be playing with. Entering the gym now I saw a few first faces of my new team. Then we set out to the court and started warming up. Coach Denis, the same one from the year before, tossed me a ball. He was the best coach I have ever had and it helped having strong players around us also. Another person on the team was our assistant Coach Ricky. He wasn’t there last year but I already could tell he was going to be a great part of our team next year. For our players we had Nolen, Jackson, Ben, Sam, Jake, Albert, Bradley, and I. It was turning out to be better than a fair team, but a great one. Practices started being broken into my schedule three times a week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
