It was the week after his only friend Casper
Another “All A’s” student, had up and moved to Nebraska.
Tyler didn’t have a friend.
And as he rode his bike on end
To receive a drunk mother's greeting in the den,
Tyler passed by Reese, Sosa, and Derrick Coleman.
As usual, their bodies were surrounded by a cloud,
So thick, when Tyler pedaled through it, it made him slow down.
“Look at that clown”
They began to drown, in laughter.
All Tyler could do was look down
And frown, ashamed and bashful.

The very next day
Circumstances were the same,
Except when Tyler decelerated
Keith Cozart celebrated
He was clearly insanely faded
But Tyler stopped by anyways.
The guys were not lucid
In fact, they forgot they were even human. It
Was apparent to Tyler that he should move it,
And get away from these people.
He disobeyed his instincts,
And minutes later he was in sync,
With the mindset of all these ninnies.

Two months passed,
Tyler was the most popular of the junior class,
Except he was failing them bad,
Because he was always purple hazed off the “grass”
And had gotten involved in recent gang attacks.

Rumors were spread about this wild creature.
They made their way to the preacher
And he decided to seek out this
Grade A mess up from the south side of town. His
Reason was that he wanted talk him out of this
Sinful behavior—but Tyler was all about it.

After getting “persuaded” out of his thuggish ways
The preacher thought “my work is finished for today,”
But as soon as Tyler returned to his wannabe Kanyes
He began causing a ruckus, using an illegal substance, and setting things ablaze.

Twenty eight days later
You could see a picture in the paper
Captured by a frightened neighbor
Of a group of children with weapons—these were no toy lasers.
Later police investigators
Uncovered the ID of one of the weapon conveyors.
With little convincing the police turned him to a snitching betrayer
And Tyler’s mother received a call from the jailer.

Drug tested positive and charged with multiple counts of criminal behavior,
The fact that he had no chance to receive a higher education,
That he was scheduled to sit in a cell for a few thousand days or,
Realizing that he may never achieve graduation,
Tyler couldn’t decide what the worst part was.

A few days pass,
An officer sits down with Tyler and asks,
“Do you want to get out of here ASAP?”
Tyler listens to his offer:
“Get me evidence to get rid of these gang members and their choppers”

Tyler went in wearing a wire.
There he saw Sosa, Tadoe, Reese, and Fredo—all experienced fighters.
With his wire and his camera Tyler got the whole cypher.
From the main substance providers to the people who set houses on fire,
Tyler would surely be free from jail and most definitely thanking the Messiah.

Cruising with the gang,
Suddenly the car slowed and switched lanes,
Then pulled over.
That’s when everyone pulled guns on the guy with the hidden nanny camera by Motorola.
They pushed Tyler out of the hatchback
Pulled the trigger Blast Blast
Drove away real fast
And left Tyler to be the vultures’ breakfast...
Or so they thought.

When Tyler woke up he caressed
The giant bruises on his chest
Thank god for the Kev vest,
But it still hurt like heck.

Tyler returned to school a hero,
And with the school’s gangs finito,
All he had to do was get his averages up from zeroes,
Which he did eventually.
He chose to repeat the year which, in the end would be
The wise decision. Tyler finished Junior year with all A’s
And had finally made a new name for him.
He got into Johns Hopkins and studied away in Berlin.
Tyler proves that no limits can fully contain any men.
