Gunmetal lips,
And a shady smile,
Lends a monochrome kiss,
To the child in denial.
Frivolous laughter,
Following a hearty jeer,
Teases the mind,
Causing it’s heart to sear.
Contemptuous glances,
Seemingly disdainful,
Numbs it’s mind,
That it won’t be so painful.
Gelid thoughts,
With sorrowful eyes,
Not a single tear dropped,
As the child then dies
