In the Mind of Me

Sometimes,
When its stormy out,
I like to pretend I have powers
And the storm is my creation.
Isn't that childish?
Sometimes,
When I'm upset,
I climb in trees to escape the walls
And I feel like I'm flying.
Isn't that childish?
Sometimes,
When the day is perfect
I act like I'm living in a novel
And I'm the main character.
Isn't that childish?
Sometimes,
When its late
I'll stare at the ceiling for hours
And just sit and think
About how nice it is to be childish.
