Life is an eye
No eye is the same, every color is different
No person is the same, every life is different
No eye can see the exact same shade of a color
No person can see something the same as another
Every eye is delicate and sensitive
Every human must be handled with care
With every eye that is disturbed by a particle
There is always a fix to the impair
Sudden light can temporarily blind us
But our eyes eventually adjust
Sudden changes can throw us off guard
But remember to just have trust
There is always someone looking out for us
Whether we realize it or not
Our eyelashes look out for our eyes
Protecting them a lot
When our eyes are open
We see incredible things
But when our eyes are closed
We miss out on all those things
How we choose to present our eyes is our choice
How we choose to present our lives is our choice
Life is an eye

The author's comments:
This is an extended metaphor that captures the similarities between life and an eye. I hope that people will get the message that like every eye is different so is every life and every person. These differences should be acknowledged and appreciated.
