Dripping and dropping, silver pools rippling.
Shadows fall upon the pools as the night looms.
The pearls of night slip in, the icy cold water crippling.
Light fades away and darkness resumes, creeping in forgotten tombs.
Creatures of the night prowl through the darkness avoiding attention
Creatures wander about the depths of darkness as to avoid their fate.
Predator and Prey alike in ways, await their end in suspension.
Some fight their way through the night but for others it is too late.
Shades of shadows escape and lay for light is coming and so is day
Hunters crawl back into the crevices where they await the next night
But for others there is no next night and now in the horizon they play
Resting, the pools stay still for there is no more fright.
A lonely sleepless restless night resembles that of an evil’s power
In the light, not alone, not afraid, nothing can devour.
