I am daring but caring/I am strong but weak
I wonder why me? Let me see
I hear the flick of the bic, the devil screaming let me free
I see him taking over me
I want this demon out of me
I am daring but caring/I am strong but weak
I pretend the devil can’t see my pain, can’t hear my weep, can’t feel my lies
I feel like he has got a surprise
I touched the devil he’s dancing with me
I worry he’s got me down on my knees
II cry to just let me free
I am daring but caring/I am strong but weak
I understand where I am headed
I say to myself just keep living
I dream about his warmth
I try to let him go
I hope someday he lets his gripe free
I am daring but caring/I am strong but weak
