Sometimes we need something to see
She thinks to herself what a crazy place to be
Or Maybe just a place to hide
For in the darkness she lies

The water flows beneath her head
But all the sudden she starts to tread
Hope starts to drift away
Her life is like the clouds so gray

What more can she take
Her mind needs a break
With everyday she tries
The more she wants to die

But in a time so very cold
A warm embrace lets her know
The light shines so very bright
Every living day and dreary night

Now she finds happiness
Even in deaths misguiding caress
Now the darkness begins to drift away
Finally she lives in the light today

The author's comments:
This was actually inspired by everyday sadness, and in some cases suicide. Its very dark at first, then turns to a happy ending.
