As the blood drips down her side
You feel nothing inside
No emotion to feel guilty,
No emotion to show you, you are filthy

You sleep soundly at night
Not knowing if she’s alright
Not caring about her
Not carrying the regret of hitting her

You repeat the night everyday
You see in her eyes the dismay
As your weeping children stare hopelessly
You glare despisingly

You walk away from the screams
The terror in their eyes
is nothing like your dreams

You didn’t want to be tis person
You didn’t want to hurt
But when being this person, you worsen
Day by day you are adding dirt

Dirt to the top of their graves
Dirt to the endless paves
The pavement leading your way to happiness
The pavement leading your way to hope

You are covering this path for you
You are covering the path of this girl

This girl you vowed to protect
I guess it meant respect
Respect that you didn’t fulfill
Now you have created a landfill

A landfill where your heart should be
A landfill where there is your family

You are just trash, you’ll never succeed
For there now is hate where the love should be

The girl that loved you and cared
Now cringes when you stare
When you give that look she despises
You go ahead and you take

You take what little hope she had inside
And you take it and make her leave it behind

She leaves it behind when you make her believe
Believe that she is worthless and will not achieve

Will not achieve the life she wanted
The life she wanted with children
The life she wanted with Courage
The life she wanted with honor

You have stripped her of her dreams
And all she secretly, depressingly needs
Is to be free

Just free

Free as a flower beginning to bloom
Unfortunately, she will never feel this way
Thanks to you.
