Hermit-Crab Man
I hide in my shell
My tortuous body
My mind torques as I dream
I live in bright colors
It seems like there is nothing I fear
That is a lie
I am an introvert
My shell saves me
People stare at a stranger
I advert my eyes,
For at least unlike them I am not blind
Adversity scares them
To them…
My way of life is distorted
I am not worthy of retort
I am too perverse
I am a pointless shell
I am subservient
I am a dulled knife
I am a hermit crab of a man
I hide from the world in my shell, and I see it that way too
