Seas of Blue

A rose among flowers of white,
Such a beautiful sight,
But what secrets does this red rose hold,
Hidden deep within her soul?

Does she love for someone true,
Love hidden in her seas of blue?
Does she dance among the stars,
Or catch fireflies in a jar?

Can birds compete with her lovely voice?
To me this girl's a perfect choice,
But no matter what I try to do,
I can't read her seas of blue

Her waters are shrouded in mystery,
Secrets unknown to history
I may never know her beginnings,
But being lovely is something is something she's not pretending

Life is an ongoing story to tell,
No one wants theirs to be a living Hell,
And despite all the trials she's been through,
She became beautiful, with seas of blue

I wrote this poem for a very special girl I know, and it mainly describes her blue eyes. I hope people learn how beautiful people are just in the eyes alone, and how each person is a unique red rose.
