If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn't be, and what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?

He, with a nice clean shave
Soon to fight our enemies and be brave
Joining folks like him allowing us to be free
They are the ones that protect our country

Every decision comes with a price
Leaving his true love is what he must sacrifice

Soon to drift in the current of the sea
Every day he will sail farther away from she
Their love was sealed by a final kiss
As our navy sailor volunteers to go the distance

The two stood broken, each with an aching heart
Both not ready for their time apart
But The patience and loyalty of his true lover,
And Her hope and faith in him is what keeps him from going under

This is what created a bond that kept him alive
Though war experiences has made him say that, “..i’ve...”
He was back on land, and off the boat
With facial hair, and a shaggy coat
She looked at him, he was present but twisted
He continued to say, “I’ve… realized that this love never existed”
